Welcome to Episode # 29!
At some point in the future you may find yourself in need of selling your online business. Maybe you grew tired of running a business or you had an emergency and no longer have time to devote to growing a business. No matter what the reason, do you know your next steps?
My guest this week is Heather Sanders from Oh My Stinkin Heck and she shares her experiences and Top 3 Tips for selling an online business. She has sold three businesses and learned some very important tips and information with each sale.
If you find yourself in this situation of wanting to sell but would like more in-depth advice, I offer one-on-one coaching services.
For those who do not want to use a broker and need more information about placing a sale price on your website, take a listen to WAHM Talk Radio this week. Kelly goes into great detail with her guest about what makes your website valuable.
And if you have personal experience with selling a website, either good or bad, please share by leaving a comment below!

Michelle, this is such a timely post for me. I’m 99% sure I want to sell my business sometime this year as I’ve just lost the enthusiasm for it. But it’s a great income producer so I’m sure some WAHM could really enjoy it. Your podcast has given me some great ideas, but when the time comes I’m sure I’ll be asking for some coaching to get me through it all
This has been helpful. I’ve been stressing over trying to prepare to sell my company and its been hectic. There are a lot options for small business owners which is great, for ex. I’ve found sites like biztrader.com that allow you to sell your business for free. Preparing to sell a business is almost like starting a business all on its own!
