Finally Friday: It’ Ain’t Over Yet

Whew! What a week!

I redesigned my church’s website, started planning a couple of summer internship programs and started a project to consolidate two of my websites. I know there was more than that… ahhh…yes! I interviewed two new guests for Product Seller’s Talk Radio. One guest was Jennie Willis, and you can listen to her interview about a bad web hosting situation.

My guest for next week is Regina Baker from WAHMcart. We’re both excited about our interview and I can’t wait for you to hear our ideas!

Tonight, I will most likely go scrapbooking with friends from church and tomorrow I’m photographing a friend’s wedding. Church is all day Sunday and then CW has a double header for baseball Monday night.

I’m worn out just thinking about it!

Finally Friday: How Did Your Week Go?

This week’s Finally Friday post is a bit late — by about 30 minutes, to be exact.

In short, this week has been a rollercoaster. I think I’m still stumbling around. LOL!

Let’s see if I can put together a summary:

Tuesday — Received an awesome testimonial from a very happy client.
Wednesday — Woke up to discover we’d accidentally deleted a client’s site. *A webhost’s worst nightmare!*
Wednesday night – Finally recovered deleted site and reinstalled it after working with team all day.
Thursday — Received another glowing review from a happy client.
Thursday afternoon — A client requested a refund a day too late per our TOS, claiming she had already asked for her site to be canceled. No such cancellation request exists anywhere in the helpdesk. We ask her to send us her copy of her request. She declines and threatens chargeback. *sigh*
Friday — Amazingly enough, nothing spectacular happened this day — neither good nor bad.

I am going to the Rose Rock Parade in my town Saturday. Then Aimee and I are heading to Prague, Oklahoma to buy a stash of Kolaches. It’s been a few years since I’ve made it out there, but I’m determined.

Finally Friday: What Did You Do This Week?

Yes, it’s finally Friday and I’m ready to close up my office, head outside and bask in the sunlight. Yes, it’s a bright, sunny day out there.

Sigh.

Still have too much work to do. I need to record a new video presentation that will explain how categories, products and pages work in the Shop Kit Plus. And I need to create a few more video tutorials. Also need to update my Facebook profile. We’ll see.

In the meantime, I’m going to follow in the footsteps of Tamara Wilson and post a review of my week. I’d love to hear about your week, too.

Here is what I managed to accomplish:

1. Went live with the redesign of Shop Kit Plus.
2. Worked with a design parter on a design for a new site. Will tell you about it later.
3. Camped out at the local school administration building to enroll my daughter in full-day kindergarten. Was there for six hours with about 60 other people on Tuesday.
4. Worked with a copywriter to see about overhauling the content on one of my sites.
5. Hired a project manager for vbMojo.
6. Created an editorial schedule for projects I will be working on every week.
7. Wrote a lesson for SEO Power Up.
8. Attended ballgames and practices for each child.

That’s what I can remember off the cuff, and with a minimum of notes. How about you? What were your accomplishments this week?
