Web Designer-

The person who is responsible for how the site looks and “feels.” The Web Designer handles the entire aesthetic and navigational creation of a Web site.

A web designer is also responsible for ensuring that the graphics are clear, the links are working and the navigation on the site is intuitive. Normally, a web designer is responsible for the creative aspects of a website, rather than the programming, however a knowledge of web programming is necessary.

I need to post this on my site somewhere…. LOL
So many try and tell us the creative side.
And I agree that programming is needed. So many new designers only use the wysiwyg editors and do not understand the functions behind it all.

I do agree that it’s very important to understand the code you’re using — or at least have someone you can call on who does. This is especially important when you break something and have to figure out in a hurry how to fix it. LOL!
